I remember this topic being posted a while ago. That Evelopedia page with the order of Anomaly's listed is a little bit incorrect and should be updated.
I'm not sure about the Refuge Anomaly but I do know from experience that the Burrow Anomaly is tougher than the Hideaway Anomaly.
Also that list has 2 Drone Gathering. One of those should be a Drone Assembly.
I think the Forsaken sites are tougher than the Forlorn sites as well.
Anyway, like I said I'm not exactly sure how the order should be listed. The Evelopedia was set up for us players to add info and update it as needed.
According to what is already listed in the Evelopedia page, my limited experience and what you said about the Refuge Anomaly, maybe that Evelopedia page should have the info listed something like this:
----------------------------------------------------
There are 10 classes of anomaly's, each class having 4 level's from 1 to 4.
Class 1 (Faction) Refuge / Drone Gathering (easiest) Class 2 (Faction) Hideaway / Drone Cluster Class 3 (Faction) Burrow / Drone Collection Class 4 (Faction) Den / Drone Assembly Class 5 (Faction) Yard / Drone Surveillance Class 6 (Faction) Rally Point / Drone Menagerie Class 7 (Faction) Port / Drone Herd Class 8 (Faction) Hub / Drone Squad Class 9 (Faction) Haven / Drone Patrol Class 10 (Faction) Sanctum / Drone Horde (hardest)
The lowest level (easiest) for any class of anomaly is the Faction name followed by Hideaway, Den, Hub, etc. The next level is 'Hidden', next is 'Forlorn' and the highest level (hardest) is 'Forsaken'.
Level 1 = (Faction name) + Anomaly type Level 2 = (Faction name) Hidden + Anomaly type Level 3 = (Faction name) Forlorn + Anomaly type Level 4 = (Faction name) Forsaken + Anomaly type
Anomaly Class locations:
Class 1 to 4 can be found in High Security. Class 4 to 7 can be found in Low Security. Class 7 to 10 can be found in Null (0.0) Security.
----------------------------------------------------------
This list needs to be verified or corrected and updated by all of us players and then when everyone agrees, have someone make the necessary corrections in the Evelopedia.
So how about it, can we all help verify and update this info?

OllieNorth, thanks for posting that info.
Over 220 views now, anyone else have any info to add?
Come on, I'm sure there's more players that can help get this list verified and or update it with the correct information.
Just post the info here and I'll make the necessary corrections to the Evelopedia page after we all agree the list is correct.

Great, thanks for the information. Keep it coming.

I'm sure there's others that have info to share.
The only way I know to get this list corrected is to keep asking.

When I see the word 'Forlorn' I think 'Misery' as in Sad. When I see the word 'Forsaken' I think 'Abandoned' as in No Help.
To the best of my knowledge if I remember correctly, Forsaken is tougher than Forlorn.
Anyway, thanks to all for the input. The Evelopedia page really needs to be updated with correct information. Some more feedback about the list would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback.
I guess the term 'expedition' has a different meaning to various players.
When Anomaly is completed, it has a small chance to escalate. This we can all agree on.
Escalations are listed in the Expedition tab of the journal. This we can all agree on.
To me, it doesn't matter if it escalates once to a DED Deadspace Complex or to another combat site which then escalates again to another combat site, etc., it's still an expedition.
Anyway, I changed the list and info I posted. I'd still like to get more feedback on the list of anomaly types ranging from easiest to hardest.
Thanks again to everyone.

Thanks, so you're saying that Havens are tougher than Sanctums?
Come on explorers, any more info or feedback about the list I've set up?
The Evelopedia page really should be corrected asap. This info will help all of us players, including both full time and part time Explorers.
Thanks again,
DMC

OK, I guess the types of Anomaly Class listed from easiest to hardest is correct now? Need verification.
Now about the locations, how about this?
Typical Anomaly Class locations:
Class 1 to 4 usually found in High Security. Class 4 to 8 usually found in Low Security. Class 8 to 10 usually found in Null (0.0) Security.
I'd like to say thanks to everyone for the feedback. Just need to verify the list and make the corrections to the Evelopedia page.

Anybody have any more information to add or can verify this list as being correct now?
Thanks.
----------------------------------------------------
There are 10 different types of Anomaly Class ranging from Class 1 (easiest) to Class 10 (hardest).
Class 1 (Faction) Hideaway or Drone Cluster (easiest) Class 2 (Faction) Burrow or Drone Collection Class 3 (Faction) Refuge or Drone Gathering Class 4 (Faction) Den or Drone Assembly Class 5 (Faction) Yard or Drone Surveillance Class 6 (Faction) Rally Point or Drone Menagerie Class 7 (Faction) Port or Drone Herd Class 8 (Faction) Hub or Drone Squad Class 9 (Faction) Haven or Drone Patrol Class 10 (Faction) Sanctum or Drone Horde (hardest)
Each Anomaly Class has 4 different level's ranging from Level 1 (easiest) to Level 4 (hardest).
Level 1 = (Faction name) + Anomaly Class (easiest) Level 2 = (Faction name) Hidden + Anomaly Class Level 3 = (Faction name) Forlorn + Anomaly Class Level 4 = (Faction name) Forsaken + Anomaly Class (hardest)
It's not uncommon to find the same type of Anomaly Class with different Level's located in the same system. For example - (Faction) Hideaway, (Faction) Hidden Hideaway, (Faction) Forlorn Hideaway and (Faction) Forsaken Hideaway can all spawn in the same system along with other types of Anomaly Class.
Typical Anomaly Class locations:
Class 1 to 4 usually found in High Security. Class 4 to 8 usually found in Low Security. Class 8 to 10 usually found in Null (0.0) Security.
Each Anomaly Class has a small chance to spawn a Commander NPC and or escalate to another location which will be listed in the Expedition tab of the Journal.

I'm pretty sure this is going to turn out to be:
Class 1 to 4 usually found in High Security. Class 4 to 7 usually found in Low Security. Class 7 to 10 usually found in Null (0.0) Security.
In other words, the same breakdown as DED plexes.
I don't think I've ever found a hub in low sec...
Thanks, I originally had that listed but a few players have posted in this thread saying they find Hubs in low security quite often.
Probably at first the distribution of Anomaly Class locations was like that. Due to CCP trying to make low security more appealing to players, I wouldn't be surprised if the distribution of Anomaly Class locations is closer to what I now have posted.
Of course that is what this thread is about, getting this info verified as correct so that the Evelopedia page can be updated.
So players, any more feedback, update or change of info needed? If not, how about some verification on the list?
Thanks,
DMC
